Expansion of Warsaw Chopin Airport

Warsaw Chopin Airport has joined the list of ongoing modernization and expansion projects at Polish airports. In recent years, the airport has been facing capacity constraints, particularly in handling charter traffic.
The planned investment includes the expansion of passenger terminals, the construction of additional gates in both Schengen and non-Schengen areas, and the modernization of airport infrastructure.
The goal of the project is to increase the airport’s capacity to 30 million passengers per year by 2030.
The project is part of a broader strategy for the development of air transport in Poland and is linked to preparations for the construction of the Central Communication Port (CPK).
